True-to-Life Colours and Eye Protection
The IPS panel with a matte ComfyView surface displays consistent colours while reducing ambient light reflections, which improves content readability. The Acer SA243YGOwi monitor integrates several technologies to protect your eyesight. The Flicker-free feature reduces the imperceptible backlight flickering that causes eye strain. The BlueLightShield filter reduces blue light emissions, and LowDimming technology lowers the brightness to a lower level in dark environments.
Smooth Display
The high 120Hz refresh rate combined with a 1ms (VRB) response time delivers a smooth display in fast-paced scenes. For gaming, image synchronisation with FreeSync technology is key. Image synchronisation aligns the refresh rate of the 23.8" Acer SA243YGOwi monitor with the output of the graphics card, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering.

Colour Gamut
Indicates how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², indicates the brightness of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are sufficient with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) value eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
