It allows you to connect one Molex power connector which allows you to connect to up to 4x three-pin power connectors for fans. More precisely, 2x 12V and 2x 5V connecotrs. Connectivity is provided via a Molex connector directly to the power supply, thus removing the possibility of monitoring the status of the fans. The advantage, however, is the choice of output voltage that you wish to use, which gives you the possibility to reduce the fan speed and thus noise
